Yep! To anybody looking at google maps, it's on the nearby large roundabout, not where google says

Hmm.. I didn't read the bit where they emailed us with show-up times. I thought we were just meant to wander along whenever, and we'd then be sent to Wooton from the base in dribbles. Either way, Im sure they wont mind too much, about 10 odd people not going at specified time (granted there will be others)

But what they have planned will sort the gridlock, as long as most people abide which I'm sure they will. I'm sure we'd be ok. Post back here with the times you get e-mailed

Yeah im sure it wont make too much of a difference if us lot head down a lil outa our alloted times.....it only becomes a problem if everyone else has the same idea.
Just looked up the meet point you suggested...looks like a good place to meet! Good idea

Thank you! I picked it because my house is nearby!

We will take the motorway to the airfield then see what happens. If you know anyone else who is going, bring them to this spot!

And bring cameras! I don't own one, and it's my first ever more-than-3-people ride-out!

Ok, the guy who's sorting out a George White posse says:

"Why do the motorway - they're boring

All the Swindon lot could meet en-route so if the Sun Inn group left and went down the bypass and turned off at the garden centre the George White group could join at the moonrakers and all ride down to Brinkworth to Hullavington. Similar distances and times - then all the group could do the wootton run together and straight back to swindon than mass dispersal at the motorway roundabout"

Might be cooler to meet up, but;
We'd also have to match their time (I don't know when they plan on leaving, might not be 10 o'clock).
And, this will add time to our trip. Probably 15-20 mins to get to them, I can see another 10-20+ to actually get going as a group, then A-roads...

What do people think? I vote stick to 10 o'clock leave, motorway plan. I think we have a fair sized group already anyway.

This is true (motorway is boring and does add bit extra hassle to the trip)
TBH i am not fussed either way. But the less hassle made on the day the better as with 10,000 other bikes it may get fairly difficult to stay in groups.

Motorway is less hassle.. Smaller group

Either way, I'm going to go on the motorway from Sun Inn. I can link you to the George White discussion. If I find it..

The Gixer boyz are coming to Sun Inn now. I have relayed the details across to them so should be a nice turn out there.

Well I'm an Orger and other half Chris is a Gixer Boy .........

He laughs at the fact we have a "lunge" which is why I haven't posted mine yet. Scared to ask him to take the picture.
