An after work strip down revealed the following powder mess:

Some cleaner and the hose soon had the worst of it off:

There's still some gunk in the knooks and crannies so as tomorrow's a bank holiday here the rad, exhaust and airbox will be coming off and more cleaning. Plus brakes and wheels off etc.

I also managed to snap off the part of the fuel tank vac valve whilst spilling petrol from the removed tank round the garage, so another part needed on top of the crash damage.

Free wheeling the front wheel when on the stand revealed a partially binding left front disc, this may have caused some contribution to the fall....

Final damage assessment will be completed tomorrow.

Tim, When you're fitting the discs to your wets, they have to line up on each side. There are 5 possible ways the second can go on once you have fitted one disc so make sure they are the same looking through the wheel.

I didn't realise for weeks

After a more thorough assessment today I think we're in a good position to rebuild

Lots of bits needed, plus Dijon doesn't have such a tight sound limit

Although Zolder 2 weeks after does, I'm unsure when to fit a standard can and headers, as it'll no doubt need some rolling road/carb work when I do And I'm away the weekend in between...

At the rate you're going Tim, It'll be a standard bike by the last race!
You're supposed to make race bikes faster, not slower!
