I don't go to HG because it's much easier and cheaper for me to buy online.

Rumors are rumors, I haven't actually heard any rumours... rumours about what exactly anyway? About their own brand gear? Ok so what, they stock all sorts of other brands anyway so how would a rumor play any kind of part in their demise?!

As for rumors, HG have always been super friendly when I have even been in. I bought a pair of Daytona boots and a Knox jacket and they are just great!

I always found the Braintree store stocked very little women's gear and the staff were largely indifferent to their customers. It was rare to find any helmets in theor in XS size.

However I bought my HG textiles second hand and they have been excellent.

I was planning on going up there tomorrow to look for some waterproofs anyway, so will see what they say.

If it's a Goretex suit, you may well find WL Gore will look after it, certainly as far as the membrane's concerned. LSR are the approved repairers for both HG and Gore in the UK.
