Got my account blocked till tomorrow, was using an American T57 which is more like a mobile artillery gun, used a high explosive shell which took out my team mate as well as enemy and I got blocked for 'Team Kill'

Go to the settings menu, and there is a visual in there that shows you what all the icons mean.
You fire when your target site is on the tank, and you have a red outline of the vehicle you're aiming at. Right click the mouse when it is like this, and it keeps your aim on the tank unless it hides or dies. Again, only fire when you have the red outline.

If they are moving you will need to shoot ahead of them as it is not instant kill like halo. There is bullet travel.

I've managed quite a few kills and doing quite well. I like the T57 as you can get at people who are hiding. Still getting noobs on my team firing at me and taking half my health.
