yeah mate between leyburn and ripon, bout 6 miles off ripon i think. There was only me, Cptn. nemo, couerdelion and the blandit 1200 ( sorry i 4got ur name ) Someone on a yellow Fireblade, looked as though he lost it going into a R hander and was thrown over bushes into field . Bike was a mess and he was still in field when we passed. It was those 3 that were sat where we did when we got to hawes. they left before us. Hope he's OK

it was after we all split off, somewhere between leyburn and ripon, i couldnt see how he'd come off, cos he was a long way from a corner, must have got a wobble on and taken a while to get bad enough to lose it, the bike left pieces for about 100 ft in the hedge bottom, there was fluid on the road near the bike and someone had lent the remains against a hedge, the rider was over the hedge and on the other side.

not in a good way but someone was with him while they waited for the ambulance, we didnt hang round as we were only in the way really
i havent seen anything on the local news , which is probably as good thing.

bit sobering really especially as id been messing with my suspension after having my missus Julie on the back, bike didnt feel right all day felt a bit tight and vague.

the geordie lad ( sorry too many names too few spare braincells) on the red curvy who folowed me and rich toward reeth from buttertubs, im glad you were having trouble keeping with me, as i was really having to push hard to keep with rich...the bloody madman, only for him to stop and say he thought he was taking it steady.. DOH !!!! with ian on his blandit 12 just behind taking in the scenery, Rich you must have been going quick cos we were about 3-4 mins in front into Reeth and everyone was well capable of pushing on.

good to see everyone riding safely and not doing daft overtakes (Rich?, big bus ? dbl whites, between devils and settle )

and that road over the firing range, brilliant.... i think the front was in the air more than on the floor.

Buttertubs = Roadkill alley....... yuck, fluffy bunny , not so fluufy now....

fantastic ride all round very nice to meet everyone and put some nicknames to faces, i was really pleased that so many people turned up, and how far some had travelled...

My Bandit friend Ian passes on his best wishes, especially to the lovely Helen who he took a particular shine to ..........me too sorry El Boc, but Helen is lovely...

Highlight of the day must be BBC's laugh, i should have put it on my phone as a ring tone to chear me up, bbc's hubby, Bob? also smashed his nuts on the jump as you come into hawes, so i was in good company, thinking back bbc herself said shed crushed her nuts there too, now im worried.

nice to meet laura and luke, especially as they live so close, dont be afraid to bring me a pasty and cup o t next time your up at squiers..

and i hope Lauras bum recovers before your hols, mehico you jammy buggers, when iwas your age it was 3 days in cleethorpes and we was lucky...... eh i remember when this was all trees.

the legend that is cloggsy lived up to my expectation, great bike, lots of trick bits i particularily covet his undertray and those cute little side light indicators....

and the 2 chaps on tdm's aMARK05 and Bob? nice to see someone riding like nutters on sensible bikes, how fast did amark go to get to hawes that fast to photo us all in !!!!!!!, taking it steady my ar$e.

sorry if ive missed anyone, it was really good to see EVERYONE, and thanks to Rich for organising it all and turning up 40 mins late at squiers so we all missed brekky ( ithink there's a patern forming here Rich )

and yes i am Johhny Vegas's stunt double. although i dont get much work from it, anyone know a good agent?

be good, ps do i get the award for longest post......

On her behalf, thanks Nemo! She thought you and Ian were great too - really friendly. But, as she says, who the f**k would want me for a father-in-law!!

And you mate are a Star too! Anyone brave enough to wear that mohican......
