Shall do.

I've been a lot slower (top speed wise) since this. I don't think I'd get off half as lightly next time!

Ye jammy barsteward!
I got done over 6 years ago doing 112mph on the M6 at Kendal = two week ban and £330(ish).

When I got my letter from the court to say I'd been done for speeding the policeman had wrote down my response 'When told he had been been travelling at 112mph, the driver responded "Bloody hell"' Not what I wanted to see on piece of paper from a court!

Default re Ban

You need to show that someone else (ie not you!) will suffer hardship if you get a ban.

I did; showed them I needed to drive for work (as in part of my job- not just commuting).
Letter from work saying how it'd stuff them at the busiest time of the year if I got banned (which was true).
Got a letter from my scout troop detailing how my driving was useful to them too.
Mentioned I'd just taken on a mortgage and I'd be hard pressed to find a job that would pay as well locally so me and my gf might lose our house.
Personal recommendation from the lawyer (a family friend).
Showed them I'd learned the error of my ways (was currently doing IAM and had they not had my licence, I'd of already done the test).
Looked like I was sorry in court.

All probably helped to get the (extremely good) result.

Plus, I have a certificate for doing over a genuine ton, which will be framed and hung on my garage wall.
