Yep, i'd say we need to book sharpish. Especially if we are going with the group booking idea. But i suppose two smaller ones would be easier to fit in if needed.

At £45 a room, thats not bad for two. Just need to persuade my higher authority to come along. She's still swithering.....

Just confirmed with my wife thats it's OK to go, only to be reminded that my mother gets back from Alaska on Thursday 4th and is coming up that weekend to meet her new grandson. I can't say no.

I'm going to try and figure something out. What time do you think you'll arrive in Aviemore? I might come up in the cage late afternoon and leave again early morning. They are coming up to see the baby not me anyway.

I'm up for this as long as it's not going to cost me £45 for a night, that's a bit steep.

Camping pitches are a tenner, if you've got a wee enough tent to stick on pillion with a sleeping bag. Wouldn't imagine it'd be difficult to get a pitch in October.

I'm coming up in the cage for the **** up, so long as the definates list for the rideout (http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=97284) makes it worthwhile, but if there's only a few folk going I'll drop out.

I can take up camping gear, etc in the cage if you can drop it off at Harthill anytime the week before.

Have the definates done anything so far about accomodation? I'm just planning on a tent pitch myself.

Yeah i could just pitch a tent too -save the cash for a good pig-out in the evening.

But Aviemore in October, welll, it could be rather chilly. So you're probably right about not having a problem getting a space. Except for double glazed caravans, do you think they're trying to tell us something????

I might as well do the same Ralph, if you're confident we wont need extremities amputated in the morning .

Kitkat, I'm pretty sure it's just me coming along. Amanda works til 5pm on a saturday.
