Of course all Psychologists are the same; just like all bikers are ignorant, arrogant riding Gods!

Could I propose that we therefore fall back on medieval tradition. I suggest a fight to the death between Flaming Squirrel and Spanner Man. The winner will have proven their divine inspiration and this will settle the issue once and for all.

PS To assist in funding the org I would be prepared to give up some of my valuable time to run a book on the result.
No thanks! I'm allergic to violence, I come out in cuts & bruises

Head in the sand bad management by all concerned I reckon.

Of course ones personal circumstances dictate ones views to a degree, but they shouldn't stop one being objective. Which some on here aren't being, or so it would seem.
As for the jibes, 'they're all done in the best possible taste' don't you think?

Ironically, the definitive 'how to balls up an industry' model has to be our once huge motorcycle industry. Which in the fifties was one of the largest in the world, & by the early seventies was basically all gone. Apart from the NVT/Meriden fiasco which stumbled on into the early eighties.

Cheers.

It's all laughable really isn't it. Britains model of growth is based on wanting more cheap goods for ourselves without working for it

Laughable indeed!

When I was growing up there was seemingly more of an encouragement in society to keep an eye on what was going on around oneself. Be it in ones local area, or throughout the world. This appears to have largely gone. Harking back to earlier statements regarding the 'everyman for himself' attitudes that appeared in the eighties.
Which one could presume is why there's an apathy amongst the electorate when it comes to voting. What was the turn out in the last general election? Under 60% wasn't it?

We as a Nation have become more materialistic, & as mentioned by myself & Biggles, our economy is surviving on us paying interest on money we don't have, & like as not on stuff we don't need.

Cheers.

Don't worry, it's not like debt is exponential The economy is 'stable' as interest rates remain similar year after year.....yeah A simple concept lost on so many.

Our economy is based entirely on debt! The days of gold dubloons in the bank is gone, every time a loan is created the debt:money ratio increases. It's nice that all the wealth in this country goes entirely to the hands of the richest.
