had the dremel out on some of the rusty nuts n bolts too. rear caliper Chris was getting very annoyed at..I left him with steam coming from his ears

this 'project' has only taken an entire year to get to here. Its kinda making me emotional. Not only cause I got a good friend to help me get her back to what she should be, but learning all the stuff that comes with it. When folk take their bikes to be repaired and get impatient cause its not ready, really should understand what it takes for a job like this.
eeerr the scratch job isn't doing too good, I threw the fairing panel on my bed earlier in frustration...i'm usually pretty good at this sorta stuff, but its trying to beat me. I've got the left scratch looking not too bad, but the other looks like a tellytubbies painted it.


I've traded it for a beer for this evening!!!!

I've tried to use those touch-ups in the past, it's always looked s***. Not entirely helpful, that, but it's not only you.

but when i do get her back shes going to have to get a good clean and polish!!!!


Chris prefers grease to autosol or anything that involves cleaning your vehicle....his mucky handprints are everywhere...lol

Cleaning your vee-hicle is a bit boring really, it gets hosed off and ACF50'd occasionally, what more do you want?

One of the rear caliper bolts is a nightmare, drilled the head off it, took all the seals and stuff out and had the broken bit very hot, it wouldn't move, even after cooling the bolt with freeze and release. It's rather irritating.

shes ready to play.....wooooooohooooo, just need to put her fairings back on when I can get a car down to Chris's house, whip out the battery from the black one, and keep my fingers and toes crossed that I can literally ride her back home....yyyyyyiiiiiiiiippppppeeeee!!!
