sv650 top speed?

mine read 144mph, but it didnt feel like it. infact 140~ in my car that has the worst speedo in the world felt A LOT faster(its a stable car too). i'd say its correct top speed is roughly 120~

shame as my mates just bought zzr600 :'(

surly it can be worked out? 144 is on the limiter in 6th gear k7

I've had an indicated 142~3mph and circa 132~3mph with a bird on the back.

As far as i'm aware my bike is standard

Curvy - 125.1mph (standard)
Pointy - 124.3mph (standard)

These were the maximum readings taken, in official terms we would take the average of many runs!

Had mine showing 132 on the clock, seemed just about flat out.

pointy restricted 33bhp - 112mph took about a 1.5 miles to get to the speed and it was down a hill with wind behind me
