Here's a pic of Vix bike in the Elan. Back when the Sun still showed its face.

Sorry for the previous derail!

600's are quite disinterested unless you grab by the scruff and make them scream.

Good write up though mate, nice to read something about bikes on here for a change
600 gear = mph

1st = 65-70
2nd = 85-90
3rd = 110-115
4th = 130-135
5th = 145-150
6th = 160-170

Heh you know those CB1000's only just have as much power as my bike (9 year old engine design)... and less torque. Nice looking bike though. Well the back wheel could have been nicer imo.

let us know what you think... I presume you have rode one?

Yes I rode the CB, back to back with the new Fireblade. I don't know you, but I don't much like your tone. Have you ridden one?
But you know what, don't even answer that. Here's a guy enthusing about the GSXR600 K6 since having a demo on one. Good for him I say, it doesn't need anyone coming on here and spoiling the moment.

I always get a touch of small-angry-man syndrome from you gr33k. Are you a small man?

I wouldn't describe an 08 fireblade and an 02 RSVR as having no mid range!

Me neither, the modern IL4's (600 included) have midrange its just that it isn't as strong a pull as a big V-twin but that doesn't mean they are not usable low down.

Thats because greek just sits at home thinking the falco is the best thing on 2 wheels, perhaps if he actually got out n rode the thing and other bikes to boot instead of waving his willy around ( back to that little man syndrome again G2D )he might have a different opinion.
