I'm not quite as quick as him

I go in, stick two fingers up to indicate pump No2, the cashier waves an uninterested hand in the direction of the chip&pin stealing machine, I stick the card in, enter the pin, take the receipt from the cashier trying to avoid getting my fingers crushed as they drag down the "Position Closed" barrier as another 20 customers have entered the shop, then nod and walk out.

.........whilst the rider is putting fuel in the bike. Which saves time in your case, but not all of us have two people to do be in two places at once

No I only ever pay once fuel is in the tank as I like to know exactly how much it is in case the cashier fancies swindling me

While Pete fills the bike, on the side stand, I always go in to queue up to pay. I have never been asked to remove my helmet, and would refuse if I was. It's not just the implication that we must be untrustworthy that would make me refuse, it's the faffing about trying to remove my lid and hold my specs at the same time.

If we are stopping for a pee/ fag/ drink break I'll remove my helmet before going inside, but never if it's just a refueling stop.

You can argue this until the cows come home over on BCF, there's at least one 'this is against my human rights!' post about this every day on there. One guy has even gone so far as to start arguing with the manager in his local Tesco's after deliberately going in with his helmet four times to see the reactions.

As I don't have a centre stand, I sit on the bike to fill it up, THEN it goes on the side stand once the fuelling is complete, and take my lid off as I walk to pay (assuming it's not pay at pump).

And to think, the Banks expect me to take off my Helmet off when trying to withdraw my own money/when paying in money into my own account wtf
