This will be a brief consultation with the customer to define what each machines use will be i.e. Road, Touring, Trackday or Full Race, rider weight and pillion percentage will also be taken into account.
Adjustments will then be made to the standard suspension to find the best balance and set-up for the individual needs of each rider, advice will then be given for pillion and luggage settings if required.
Cost £95.00 + Vat

That's expensive.

You'd be completely mental to spend that much for some knob twiddling on a stock SV or one with just a single clicker rear end.

For same money you could make far more effective improvements. There simply isn't any useful adjustability in the stock parts to warrant spending that. The only way that would be anywhere near worth spending is if you had a bike with fully adjustable front and rear with springs that were something like right.

^ £95 plus Vat!!!.

Not worth it on the SV as Yorkie says. No real adjustment on the front for starters.

Well he wanted to know.
But as you said that's waste .
Think of the beer you can get.
Best pop to Supervoxes ride out and get a hand setting sag and tweek the damping on the ride out stops.

I fitted my nice new Nitron yesterday. I would have taken pictures if the whole cargo-straps-from-the-rafters thing didn't look so damned dangerous...

Still, pretty easy fitting once I worked out how to lay a spanner on the various nuts and bolts. The shock slipped in a treat and I have at least, ooh, half a millimetre of clearance to the dogbone linkage wossname. It doesn't touch is the thing. Everything torqued up and away for a ride.

The new shock feels really, really good. Supple, taut and controlled with no yawing and pitching. The old shock would sometimes seem to just unload through long corners which required lots of input. This one doesn't...

Worth the money I'd say!

Thanks,

Mark

Thanks Sarah.

It's all done now anyway. Glad it worked out for you Mark!

I'm not spending that kind of money on tweaking, I'll have a bash myself at that price.
