What a load of Porlocks - Ride-out 9th September 2006 - Page 12 - SV650.org

I've just done part of the route this afternoon including the A396. Beware there are a bunch of mad pheasants hurtling around. Those things are even more daft than I am. With the recent rain it was also a tad challenging in places. I'm glad I've done 'that' road again though.

It’s quite a bit off our route, but it looks ok – it will mean lunch won’t be until about 2.00pm.

Any thoughts?

If the general feeling is "let's go there" I'll give them a call, just in case.

If we adapted the route to make it more circular, it wouldn't mean many (if any) added miles.

It's only an extra 4.5 miles if we miss the East Buckland loop out and go thru' Barnstable.

Or want to me me somewhere as I don't fancy 120+ miles on my own.

Oh and has anyone got the 'address' for that station as I can't find it online...

Don't need it mate - it's signposted from the motorway (at least, it is heading south!) as "Tiverton Parkway". M5, J27 - take A361. See my earlier post about meeting places
