Like a few of us here, I didn't get the opportunity to meet this guy, but I still feel deeply saddened. RIP m8

Some messages from some other riders from elsewhere...

Walrond (Wade), Kaiserslautern, Germany
Everytime I hear about a fellow rider passing I wonder if I should continue riding myself. I don't think I will ever quit because of the enjoyment it brings me, but it does make me pause. Pass along my condolences to his family and take reassurance that he was doing something he enjoyed at the end.

LuisLorenco, Sintra, Portugal
These things make us understand that a broken engine is really nothing.
Let's continue driving safe and doing something your friend would do if he's among us. My condolences to his family and friends

KTiM, Guernsey
Sorry to hear the bad news, Tim

Bummer, Denmark
My condolence too..
Bummer..

Spanish Bob, Barcelona, Spain
Sorry to hear about that. Ive heard of several friends and acquaintancies who have had had accidents from very serious to not so in the last 3 weeks. Makes you wonder at times, but for me only every now and again.
My thoughts are with your friend and his family.
