My point is - is all that necessary in Powerbikes!?!? - the stock ones straight out of the box are more than most can master?!!? ... Case in point I used to regularly run in the top 5 or 6 in powerbikes on a supersport regulation 600!!! as did some of my other fellow 600 competitors ... the front guys were always untouchable, but the depth of field really wasn't that great!!

I think if you want to win at powerbikes (well Forza now) though, yep, you need to throw some money at it ... as the front guys are f-fast!! ... and indeed even £10k could easily evaporate if you do the job properly

As for your bike ... Ahh ... That is a lot of bike for £4.5k then but you could have got a stonker of a minitwin too for that?!!? why did you choose Thunderbike over minitwins? (Don't 'read into' this, its just curiosity why you went that route, I have given the rationale for my choice ).
Thats the thing though the front runners can master them so need the extra tweaks for more speed.

Yeah i completely agree and infact at brands this year there qwas a R6 cup guy out having a play spanking everyone's **** bar the top couple. I suppose you dont maybe need to spend that kind of money but lets be honest if you take away the tuning and wheels your still looking at 3-4K on top of the bike's price at say 6K+ which adds up to 10K

Yep it is alot of bike for the money however at that price i just couldnt turn it down. I mean the wheels were only 2 months old when i picked the bike up . It even came with the standard front end, spare wheels and all the original bodywork which i now have up for sale.

As you may have noticed i have a minitwin for sale also which was my first choice of bikes but i'm a tinkerer and the minitwin class doesnt allow me to play around with the bike as much as i'd want. Also after spending the year watching the mintwins i've discovered that the class is alsmot as ''axemurderer'' as the 600's. Not saying i'm too much of a wuss to go out and trade paint i'd just rather a slightly more gentlemanly class. ANd yes i know you'll say once the red lights go out it all goes to pot on that score but in my mind i'll enjoy it more without wondering if this corner will be the one that'll end up seeing me used as a skittle by another bike.

Now you get it! 860cc btw. That was a lot of work for a one line joke though!

As for the taking no prisoners in minitwins these days, funnily enough that’s actually why I want in to minitwins as it is so fiercely competed these days ... it’s the equal bikes - take no prisoners that to me makes it more rewarding if you can do well But each to their own and all that ...

If you like to tinker by adding performance parts ... you are happy to tinker with my bike*!!

*with minitwins regs obviously
