he does ride corners like the wind already, Just hope he don't enjoy them too much!
It doesn't matter what tyre he has on, they always get ridden on full tilt....
I felt so much better after he rode my old Azaro in, made me look like a riding god..hehe

Not sure how many miles he'll get out of them, but Rictus seemed to get a lot out of his

I been using storms for 2 years on my cb1300 were scrubbed in after 25 miles or so..... 1st rear lasted 7000 2nd is on 1500 so far ask ED how I ride (I dont pussy foot about) they are good tyres and should last well on a smaller Vtwin

Well if I get 5k out of them I will be happy , anything over that is all good . I`m off out today for a jaunt down to mid wales to scrub them in with 2 other mates who all got fresh rubber yesterday . One of them is trialling a new Continental tyre that`s supposed to be as good as the Azaro but stickier .

Wouldn't believe that, I have tried loads of tyres and I have yet found anything as good as the Storms (well maybe the Azaros). Then again, tyres are a personal preference.

Glad to hear you are enjoying the Avon Storms, I know you won't be disappointed.

Well, yeah, but there was a day that the Metzeler Z3 was awesome And then the Roadtec was the best, and so on. Something'll beat the current crop soon.

Oh they were awesome today , impeccable handling from them and after I had scrubbed them in I was way confidant on them , to the point I got my HOON on and was carving bends with ease around Bala Lake this afternoon . A truly good days worth of biking which ended in me also treating my baby to a new Oil/Air Filter and Oil change <-- for the SV

Approx 80 miles of the scrub in, with a knackered shock on the Raptor...god only knows how much more they'd have gone over with the suspension working properly!
Think he needs some knee sliders for xmas

My storms have got at least double that strip
