I could be interested in this but not if they look like the images here, these look poxy TBH mate. Are they prototypes or what? Do you have some more professional produced items to sell as I'm looking to buy some or make some.
Cheers

They were the prototype or the early version before Blair started to produce them I believe, this is the finished product....

Ahh thats more like it. Im just toying with the idea of a fork change but interested in a group buy if anyone is doing one for these brackets. I might just do a brake upgrade on the standard forks.

You'll probably want to give the forks a bit of a buff at the same time... You can tie the front end in knots as standard, adding a load more brake can make that worse. I reckon the biggest factor in the SV's stopping isn't the calipers, they're OK, it's the forks. I bet you an entire scottish pound that GSXR forks with SV calipers would stop you faster than SV forks with GSXR calipers

These are awesome for people with upgraded stock forks... Emulators etc, even sprung and oiled for your weight (I'm assuming here you're not like 60 kilos) but I reckon it makes more sense to kill 2 birds with one stone and go straight to a fork swap, personally. But I'm biased, I like fork swaps. But DEFINATELY upgrading forks in some way is a better investment.

Yeap, pretty daft mod IMO.

Half the extra braking of the SRAD front end is the bigger discs anyway.

This is my feeling too. I didn't particularly want stronger brakes, particularly not on the stock forks which already struggled with stock brakes. I upgraded the suspension for better suspension and better braking. I would say for the money, you'd be mad to buy one of these kits and some gixxer calipers and upgrade the fork internals, rather than just doing the gsx-r front end swap. As an aside, if anything, I'm biased towards upgraded forks rather than GSX-R front end (see signature ).

To be honest the shipping is quite reasonable and Blair will get them to you within 5-7 days.

As Northy said, it would be wise to sort the front forks out first to make the most of the new brakes.

+ 1, the SV calipers are good but the forks do let the front of the bike down.

Jeez there's nothing like checking out the facts before moaning about something and yes as Dave said they were the basic first version that I had made up

Wouldn't go that far, it's quite a nice mod combined with a good fork, and less invasive than a full swap. I prefer the swaps but there's room for both. I think it really comes into its own when you've already upgraded a stock fork, then you can make the most of the brakes without undoing the work you've done (and it means you can do it in stages too- springs and oil, then maybe emulators later, and maybe brakes, etc etc.)
