Early morning run over near Llanymynech this morning, with Mabel, and a friend and her dogs. I ran with Mabel and my friend's young pocket rocket Huntaway, Bailey, on a split lead. Bailey and Mabel ran really well together over the just under 4 mile route.

Wow, that was a very wet run! 2.6 miles with Mabel and Eleri, packed with mud and sogginess.

Early morning BarkLife run with Mabel. Three and a half miles of muddy, muggy, sweatiness, but pleased I made it out there.

And breakfast now....

Out early this morning with the intention of doing my 4.5 mile route but at 7.45am it was much too warm for Mabel so we opted for the shorter route.
3.5 miles of woodland, field paths, and back lanes.

Out with a couple of fellow canicross runner this morning for a very enjoyable 5k BarkLife run in the hills.

Followed by a couple of cups of coffee and slices of home made date loaf!

Been a couple of weeks since I ran, but had an enjoyable3.7 mile run at Llanymynech this afternoon with a friend and all the hounds. Walked when we were out of the tree cover as it was pretty warm. There was a fairly terrifying squirrel moment as we were coming down a steep, slippery bank! Really thought I was going to go flying!

Saturday morning Bark Life 3.5 mile run with Mabel.

Pleased to have got under 10/mi on that route. There are a couple of sections I can't really run as I have to pick my way through the trees across a steep bank.

First run for several weeks. I kept it short as it was Mabel's first run since losing half a claw in the squirrel wars, so just a muddy, 2.81 mile local run. Her foot doesn't seem to be bothering her at all now so I'll make the next run a bit longer.

We just made it back before the rain started.

First run for more than 4 weeks, combination of Mabel's claw, and winter blues/lack of motivation.

Into Welshpool for a run south along the canal. The trails here in Llanfyllin are currently barely walkable because of the water and mud. Towpath gave me around 6 miles of mud free, but sadly flat running.

Out for a morning canicross with Mabel, and a couple of friends and their dogs. 5K of muddy, squelchy, running goodness in Mathrafal.

My legs were really feeling it today as I went for a very rapid walk of 6.4 miles along the canal in Welshpool yesterday afternoon. The top front of my thighs are letting me know about it!
