Nearly done just some minor finishing bits and general checking everything for torque.

hi dizzy just read this thread from the start, well done! its great to see another sv being brought back, not too many curvys out there now. you said a couple of pages ago how you could keep her damp and rust free, saw this in busters and thought it was a great bit of kit, might even get one myself, good luck with the first ride , let us all know how you got on and remember to put some final pics up!

I haven't seen her in a few weeks, since my last instalment of pics, I'm off up my loft noe to bring down the nice Roca belly pan, and put it with the other yellow bits that Chris's mum will be picking up tomorrow( she don't know yet) I don't even know if chris has tried firing her up ready for tomorrow......doh he can't I've got the battery

....note to self,,rob Daves battery and don't ferget your riding gear
oooooooooooo I'm all excited.......its giving me butterflies, but, if I take any pics it'll be after shes been scrubbed, Chris is rather genorous with grubby handprints and the end can is as filthy as the day it were taken off

SHES ALIVE AND HOME>>>>
pictures to follow, just not on camera cause I forgot it. Oh what a day. Im Indoors got out of the wrong side of bed, and I've been up all night with a very poorly 6 year old. For a change Im Indoors has been the nag...lol
Chris bless him has worked flat out to get her out of the garage, with all the little niggles of putting her back together, in between his mum getting help with ladders ( I think shes a clean, polishing mad head just like me.
It was very, very tiring. We couldn't figure out which way the wiring loom went round the front sub, put all the fairings back and realised the indicator wires weren't in. the hugger was stuck on the tyre, the gear lever mechanism needed hitting with big hammers, the instructions for the bellypan were all in French!!! You name the niggles and they appeared....biggest niggle we couldn't find the rubber gromits for the screen...ggrrrrr, I looked everywhere.
And unfortunatley the tank has got a chip out of the paint somehow, but I've got a scratch hit so I should be able to cover that.
For all the attemts to cover the giant scratch doen the left fairing I failed so it looks like my son painted it, so now I am on the look out for a sympathetic sticker to cover it.......it runs down from the oem one quite a way, so any ideas appreciated.
It felt very strange riding her home, i WAS VERY nervous, because of all the new set up and I've been used to Daves higher gearing.....slug. Must say she din't feel like she were going to fall over at a sharp turn...anyway enough of my excitment, off to get these photos uploaded along with a nice bottle of plonk
