All that feckin shaite that Stoner has been talking, 'ohh, my arms not ready, I ain't fit enough', it's all just a publicity stunt so that people think he's Godlike and the best. I knew it.

The funny thing that was so contradicting in the BBC interviews on Sunday was that they questioned Edwards and he said "I don't care that much of our relationship TBH, it's not like I'd go for a beer with him or anything", JT said "I've known Colin for years and regard him as a friend"

He's been quite clever.

Scenario 1 - He loses "oh my wrist isnt back up to full strength yet"

Scenario 2 - He wins. "I'm great me, I win and my wrist is still broken, how fast am I going to be when its healed up properly"

Personally I dont like him, he was moaning about being on pole before Sundays cancelled race. But by god can he ride that Ducati. Its not his fault the other manufacturers / riders arent up to speed, then need to get faster.

No doubt of his talent, he just plays on it too much, someone like Vale, it was ****, we'll try better next weekend. As they have said, the bike suits him, the tyres suit the bike, there's no better combination.

Which he is, if he was half of the blokes on that grid he could be rated as one of the best to ever test Rossi, like Gibernau, Biaggi etc. In racing terms he may be a fighter but, personality, he is completely different IMO.

I can remember Gibbers,Biaggi and others all whining like f&ck in the past when (usually) Rossi beat them. The real difference with Stoner is that he can and does beat Rossi more often than any of the others ever have.Whining is all part of motorsport mind games, just as playing the fool and not whining is.
Stoner is a top class rider, one of the best you will ever see,so live with it and enjoy the spectacle and give credit where its due.

Mr Rossi has been known to do his fair share of whinging as well. he moaned quite alot about his bike in 2006 IIRC and he also complained quite loudly about the Michellin tyres before switching to Bridgestones last year...

He isnt the saint that some people think he is IMHO.

Just look at Stoner's last few laps, though. He was like a man possessed! I know Rossi backed off for due to tyre worries which is half the reason the gap kept increasing, but bloomin' 'eck, Stoner looked rapid
