They'll do. Then you just need to find a decent rear shock. Penske are nice

Coming from you with twice the amount of posts in the same time, that is defo a case of the pot calling the kettle black!!

No, I honestly don't care if somebody elses opinion says it's a whine, those guys are tit's, I've posted my opinion and nobody's going to change my mind on it, so there's no point in having the debate on the forum.

But I'm desperately seeking the adoration of the masses.

hi everybody,

I am glad to be able to join this interesting topic and this forum.
Here is my contribution to the subject:

The 'lottery win' shopping list:

- bimota SB6 (the essence of motorcycle design) - for display in the living room AND also for the sound of it. Also as an investment of sorts.
- rsv4-r (the essence of 21st cent. state-of-the-art engineering) - for riding on track, and the cliched "balance of 750/feel of 600/power of 1000+/flickability of a 250 GP" is indeed THE achievment of the moment
- 2009 fireblade - for allround out-of-town enjoyment & reliability AND out of sheer respect to Honda for building such a masterpiece - actually for RIDING IT and admiring it while parked.
- kawa ZX6-R - for the sheer sound of it.
- 675 daytona - for its overall brilliance - probably would ride it most often of the lot.
- Yamaha MT-03 - for the city-riding brilliance plus the unique supermoto/naked/beefy-bike design plus the unbelievable quality of fit & finish (would probably buy 2, one to use in the city and one just for display and marvel at it.).
- BMW K1300 S - don't know exactly why, but would buy it just because a respectable someone said you have to ride one before you die. Then I'd probably sell it

Enough dreaming. Here is the real one:

- a Brian & Ghezzi Furia OTTO - no comment
- a SV650 (or an MT-03 as they can be dug out with some special prices lately ...) for general commuting ...
- a custom-naked Mantra (my next project) - for the dirtiness of the genuine 'undress her' approach and THAT wicked frame !
- a nice hi-res poster of Ducati 916 for my garage

Let's get real - one bike CANNOT cut it for all purposes - there are awesome exceptions to this rule, of course, such as the Versys, but WHERE is the style/attitude/ in that ???

Oh, and I almost forgot - if it wasn't for its way-too-small stature, I'd surely commit to a 2010 Honda VTR250 just for the fun of it. What a lovely little 250 machine - it almost made me feel sorry for not being shorter & smaller physically. Don't you just love them 250s....

Cheers, ride safely & WAKE UP !
