Well, that's a very good question!

I wish I had an answer.

Maybe naievity in believing it would be an "easy fit".

ETA Halfords at 10 am for Fibreglass and paint! Yes, the bike is getting a (very basic) spray job. But it'll be very, very basic!

This afternoon He'll be finished!... probably... or not.

When I called yesterday morning, I thought Chris was sat next to a track or something.
That dremel made a perfect soundtrack for a 125 race!

Busy bees day again then!

4 hours of fibreglassing, filling, sculpting and sanding later and everything is clean and dry and ready for spraying in the garden.
Then we have a thunderstorm!

In which case you will get bloomed orange peel and try as you might you will never be able to recreate the effect when you next repair off the inevitable slide down the track.

Still plenty of scope to practice your spraying over the next few years. buy you paint in bulk and keep some ready mixed just in case

Ahem----I am presuming that the fairing you have fitted is a race fairing with the full sump cover so it doesn't drop oil on the track.
