Enjoying your videos Tamsen and great enthusiasm for getting stuck into the bike, thank you.
I have a brake vacuum bleeder too and was initially concerned by the bubbles which keep on coming. After a few fluid flushes and fillings of empty systems I have learnt that once the system is full the majority/all of those bubbles are formed by air being sucked around the bleed nipple threads. I know some folk seal the threads with ptfe to stop this. I like your solution of giving the system a final bleed by the old method of using the lever, at least you can be confident all air has been expelled. |

***New Video***
SV650 Carburettor Synchronisation, using vacuum gauges. I really enjoyed this and was surprised at how little time was needed once the gauges were set up.

***New Video***
Can't believe it, was just about to finish filming the last of the 4000 mile service and I slipped on gravel whilst moving the bike to flat ground to do the oil change. I guess the silver lining is now I can make a fibre glass repair video from this! Watch this space, will get the bike looking awesome again quickly.
