Low impact. You don't want joints like mine

I have a pushbike too which I also ride on the trails around here. At the age of 60, my joints are what they are - I just need to pace myself a little better!

Trying to book holidays.
Oh you can't have more than one person off at a time.
Flipping near impossible with 7 people.
And you can't take kids out of school...

I'm fatter than I thought!

Mens trousers are sized three inches smaller than the actual size.

A mate at work was checking before he ordered some kevlar jeans on evilbay and was stunned to find his fitting 32" waist was actually 35" on the tape and confirmed his 32" trousers also measured 35"

Suddenly im three inches bigger and not in the good way.

I know I had plenty to eat at Christmas but this revelation has really got my goat.

Default Gripe of the day - What is yours?

And men's trousers show a waist measurement but unless you are Simon Cowell you don't actually wear your trousers around your waist. I have several male friends now hitting middle age who proudly boast they are 'still only a 32" waist just like when I was 20!" They completely fail to acknowledge the paunch around the belly they have gained over 20 years because it hangs over the top of their trousers! All that belly fat and beer gut is a fast track to type 2 diabetes but they are fooling themselves they aren't any bigger.

+1

but I can't find a reason for waking up. My body just decides it wants to be awake for a couple of hours
