IOS (iphone) users views on Android?

Precisely! its google ffs lol.

Id like to arrange apps by date, a particular price range, user rating, android version compatibility, popularity even file size and be able to search a combination of those.

Ebay search is an example of a half decent search facility.

I have no idea what apples app thing search is like? any good?

It would be even better if it would stop showing me half the page in English and the other half in Portuguese, or at least make it obvious where to change that. Just because my location is in PT doesn't really mean I actually want to see stuff with lame translations on my devices...

Edit: no, having to type http:market.android.com/?hl=en isn't the obvious way I was referring to!

All I know is that android is basically a bit like iPhone but made by google or blackberry or someone, and it's on your phone, but not as polished as iOS, and that everyone who uses googleberry android spends all their time on the net constantly trying to explain to everyone how android is the same as iPhone if not better and that all iPhone users are idiots with too much money...

having just read that samsung galaxy s might be one of the phones running android, the touch screen is like trying to use an iPhone but with half the sensitivity of the apple touch screen, some of the interface isn't as intuitive as iPhone (I just installed that app, but it's no where to be seen on the desktop, apps folder or in the search? I'll try again........................................... 7 times, and then give up altogether).

Free tethering is nice, but 90% of the time I've got wifi access wherever I am, so it's usually still quicker than tethering to 3g network would be.
