Needs more changes, by the look of it... the alternative road I picked out on google maps appears not to exist on the ground.

No matter which way he went, it seemed to end up in the same place. I gave him the name of the villages he needed to watch out for, and because they were so small, he ended up back where he started!
Eventually he shoved on the sat nav, and it took him through......'the gate'!!!!
He had no problem on the bus with that part, but swore he wouldn't play TEC if he had to watch the AR riders through that bit

As for the rest of the route, he absolutely enjoyed himself, parts of it had an Applecross feel, some of it was very likened to Scotland, and by and large he had a lovely time. He just added that the second half of 'T-H' riders must be made aware to not target fixate on the rider in front, as you need yer whits about you. The bus handled everything with ease, and he would have no issue two up either. Only thing he pointed out was it was so damn hot up there, that a lot of bikes were feeling the lack of air!

Had his lunch parked up where we did, there was a market going on and plenty of places to park, and in Richmond the co op was jammed to the rafters, spaces, but not all together for all of us.

OH and BFM........he got airweeeeeeeeeeeeeee wings needed!

So in conclusion, an absolutely cracking route. As long as we get the first quarter bagged, its a winner

I'm not sure about this new first section you know... theres this white stuff on the road surface by the look of it, sort of dashed and it goes on for miles and miles.

All I can see is no data available between Flasby and Hetton!

Much better upto there, looks much more appropriate, and then obviously after the data kicks in again!

Andy: I think they're road markings... didn't recognise them at first.

Anyone fancy the little loop (Settle round to Kettlewell on these roads and then over to Hawes) within the next few weeks?
