Kate - does that price include your full system etc, if not I would try and get it bumped up a little because of everything you spent on it etc...But if you are selling them seperatly then it wont matter.

The full system was second hand and not worth as much as the standard system, it is a write off though. I do however have the original system in the spare room without a scratch on it, I'll get around to selling it at some point.

You have got to just Love Croydon council. They must be the most money grabbing council that i know. Only in croydon, do they charge you to park in a pay and display car park, but let you park on the orad for free, and if they dont, the parkings applicable until middnight! If they place a ticket on your car, they give you the grand total of Half and hour to suss, this, then they will tow you away!! Bless them!!

Great aren't they? Don't get me started on Croydon Council, they are a right pain. Anyway, the 3rd party has admitted liability so this isn't my problem anymore.

Actually, this is a very reasonable bill given the severity of your
injury. Good thing you didn't encounter an American road sign: in
the US a similar sum would buy you, say, a tooth extraction.

Kate, take the road fund licence off as well and get the refund from that.

Lots of councils are charging for ambulances now as well were its an RTA on the basis that insurers will cough up.

Glad you're recovering and the insurance isn't going to be too much hassle.

And don't talk to me about Croydon Council. They sent me a council tax bill to Australia after I had emmigrated and left the country. The amount? £0.00

Cost them money to tell me I owed them nowt.
