Photos make it real, when Drew was telling me about it on Saturday it did sound scary! Another big up for HJC helmets here (same model as yours), when I head-butted the tarmac did not even get a headache!

Glad you not too badly hurt and in good spirits, GWS.

Gws soon mate, i wouldnt have thought they will right the bike off as its a brand new bike (btw how did you pay for it? in full or finance, and did you take GAP cover out on it??)

Could be worth a post etc on 675.net to see what those guys say/any parts going???

Also- GET SOME CRASH BUNGS FITTED NEXT TIME!!!!! (Ive got T3 racing ones on mine, no need to drill the fairing)

With that colour perhaps 'Countess Underpants' is more appropriate

bike was paid in full in cash, although a quirk of how little i paid for it means that similar bikes are for sale at £500-1000 more than i paid and i don't think there's going to be many 2008 models left, not sure how that's going to work out

tbh i don't think crash bungs would have helped in this situation, the bike fell over the kerb and the stator cover would have touched down first regardless, a t3 type cover might have helped but the entire momentum of the bike hit the cover and flipped the bike end over end so there's not much that would've saved it - my intention was to wait until i slid it down the road then buy the woodcraft covers from the us, wasn't planning on having such a spectacular first off
