I watch the weather very carefully, don't like to be caught out after a 12 hr night shift. If its the day shift, if my back yards frozen, theres no chance of getting on the road, as YC has found in recent months.
I don't like playing with frozen mini roundabouts at all.

I can't imagine any time I would ride the bike in icy conditions so I'm with you on that one chick....sensible all the way

I'll be getting a winter bike especially for when it's icy because next winter my commute will increase from the current 7 miles to 30 each way. I think I'll be getting one of those Saab 9-3 TDi bikes with four wheels and a roof.
