After visiting the garage of doom this fine afternoon, I can now confirm to all, that this bike is indeed a mammoth of the dinosaur variety. The fork legs compare to that of an anorexic chicken, which are likely to collapse round the first corner under the strain of carrying the weight they have to bear!!

....thats without adding to the equation the weight my young pie munching friend !!

They`ve kept many a despatch rider on the road , until they spill most of their fluids and still carry on going , it`s not a scratcher by any stretch of the imagination but it does exactly what it says on the Tin , gets from A to B ............ somehow , eventually ....... with something glowing . Keep the Faith

Not with no front tyre it doesn't.

Unfortunately the R compound tyre I ordered (that's R for Rock 'Ard by the way) REFUSES to seat on the f***ing beads and scuppered the whole plan of MOTing it this afternoon

We're buggered. SV heading to Wales.

Have you tried melting the rim with a Gas Torch and bending that around the tire ?

Yeah I tried that after compressor had failed (my air chuck broke). Then tried a bit of pipe clipped over valve stem with air gun stuck in that, then schrader chuck with nitrogen cylinder. The tried ratchet strap round it, then blasting it on with carb cleaner. (holts carb cleaner is CRAP for that BTW). Needs a cheater tank methinks.

Yeah that is with core out of valve. I'm fairly sure taking it somewhere that has a better compressor than mine will pop it on fine.
