Just got quoted £77ish for both levers.

I'll also need a new crash bung. and repairs to the exhaust. and some new waterproofs.
That's a lot for levers. Look here: http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/sear...e=sv650+levers

and you might find a lot cheaper!

for all those of you who got intimate with tarmac, trees, cars and other nasties.

Glad to hear you're all up and ok and the bikes just need a bit of fixing. Some a bit more than other sadly by the look of Saeeds bike.

Just got home

Thanks to everyone for a cracking day out, despite the weather, and a special thanks to Stu not only for a great route, but also for accompanying us back to our Travelodge in Dorking.

Hope the crashers aren't feeling too sore, and they get their bikes sorted soon.

So when's the next one?

We'll post the dyno run graph tomorrow. Not a huge increase, about 5bhp, but so much smoother and more responsive. We got there at 9 and left at 5.15..............fair play to Steve, he was dogged in his work, even though our stubby gave him a few problems. Suspension feels a lot better too. Hard to really judge with a boring M-way ride home, but first impressions, money well spent.

You missed us when we stopped to pick Gary up off the floor - I think.

Quite right too. I'd like to go for a ride sometime soon that doesn't involve re-enacting an episode of Scrapheap Challenge:
"You've got some Gaffa tape, and bit of 4"x2" and a penknife, but to make it harder for you we've restricted you to the 'tools' found in an SV. Now, get it back on the road in 15mins."

"money well spent."
that's great to hear!

i thought 5bhp is a huge amount for an SV and, as you said it's all in the delivery.
Nearly came to SJ to pick up parts, but thought I'd better go straight to work

Yes, percentage-wise it's 7-8%, not shabby at all. It's a shame you decided to be good and go to work, we could have done with the company.
