Slaidburn is a lot further from Kendal than Grasmere. I've just changed our plans a bit. We'll meet you for the loop around the lakes at the beginning of the A590. When we get back there, I'll take my bike back home and drive with the car to Slaidburn. I'm still not confident enough to drive on roads, I don't know in the dark and maybe wet. My BF Paul will probably ride with you on his bike, he is a lot better than me. We look forward to meet you all and spend a few hours with you in the evening but we will drive home.

If we are staying over the dales way what about the place we had the AR 07 at ? Sorry Lissa I know you dont need me chipping in now as you are organising it but they had bunkhouses there and a bar.
