Don't worry about it, if he gave a crap then he'd have tried harder and got more money for them. You were buying pigs in pokes after all. Some people just want to shift stuff. Either way, convenience always costs money!

PS 152168860558 lens looks to be worth around £40 upwards but if it fits yours then looks like a nice piece of glass.

Hey Yoko, you going to take a shot at the SRT? If not then I think I might. Would go well on my XG-M. I wouldn't feel bad about the deal, as Johnny said he could have said no!

Go for it Kenzie. The 1.4 is meant to be a good lens.
The XGM looks very nice indeed. Last edited by yokohama; 22-07-16 at 02:00 PM. |

Got the Perkeo through today. As I thought, someone has used the self timer on a vintage camera. Big no no. Freed it off but the shutter is a tad sticky. Might need a good exercise.

Supposed to be nice little cameras those. I'm bidding on this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Ma...-/291821973915 as either a shooter or for spares for the Konica. Probably the former. I had a reply back from a metal printing place, the aperture blades at 0.6mm are too thin to print. I've posted links for various things I think you might be interested in, and as you can guess I do the rounds of the ads fairly often, is there anything to be looking out for? I've totally lost track of who has bought what so am possibly posting duplicates or stuff you're not interested in. I'm going to see about fixing up a couple and selling them I think. There are a couple of things I'd reallllllllllly like, which are a folding Zeiss Contessa 35mm, and a Mamiya Six mf folder, plus of course a Lynx 1000/5000/Beauty Lightomatic II/Konica S for parts, some day. That's about it though! The rest are just things that catch my eye when they probably shouldn't. |

I would still like a Contina of the type I sent up to you. I need to buy some 120 film to go in the Certo and Nettar. Car boot time tomorrow. Srt is more than I want to pay so feel free.

I'm not after anything special but it's always good to have a look at the links posted up, see what's going, learn a bit more.
Strange, I originally posted on here thinking of getting rid of a couple of old cameras. A few months down the line, I've a boxfull of the things and God knows how much poorer. Now I suddenly find wyself with a Chinon and a Pentax, same mount but no lenses.....hmmmmm |

Should put a warning in the title "warning, reading this thread may cause serious GAS". Strange, I wonder if there are any lurkers. WY Cameras have a Adaptall P/K mount for a fiver.
Oh, and a Voigtlander Vito 2 is on my list.

It's a good little shop that. I might go down next week and pick up that mount.
The XD7 they had on sale was gone within 5 days. |
