I'm not in a mad rush for a lens. There's the 28-70 that came with it and I can always buy an adaptall 2 k mount for a fiver and use the Tamrons I already have.

I have the 28-80, great lens but the focus is a little loose.

Depends what you're after, there are loads of lens reviews on the Pentax forum:
http://www.pentaxforums.com/lensreviews/
I haven't trawled it so much but I would look for reviews on the zooms around that sort of length as I have it in my head they weren't so good. For sure a 50mm lens is great but I've got a Hoya 28mm and used it quite a lot, and carting around extra lenses is a PITA. Some shots from a range of lenses of interest here though:
http://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/1...ind-prime.html
with the actual answers half way down page 2. Not actually a hell of a lot in it.

Must upload some pics from my little walk around the Crawick Multiverse last week. To be honest it's not the most photogenic place, and looking for shots that are a bit more original was hard work, especially if you won't want to walk around the same route three times. I'm rubbish at landscapes, and I was also shooting with an iphone, which has way too wide a lens, but it did teach me a little patience about waiting for shadows and clouds to change, to try to give depth or texture, or just interest.

Think I have the focus sorted on the Perkeo. Also had another package arrive from the seller, he found the original case with the hood and yellow filter. Just need to shoot it and see. It will be in the queue behind the Nettar though. Johnny, fancy a go with the K1000?

Hmm let me think about it, I'm not great with SLRs.

Yoko check this

two decent lenses, load of bits, and some stuff you can sell off, all an hour or so up the road i.e. save the postage.

Up to you. I don't particularly need it. Would be body only, I only picked it up for the lens really.

I could give it a look, yep, it's either going to be easy or really hard!

No worries, will send it up. The shutter speed dial will need putting back together but that can be found in the service manual.

Lordy, another one! Ta, must have a look at the Vito sometime. Really want a bit of time just to indulge a bit in this sort of thing, want to look at the Minimatic and see if it can work and send it on its way. Am getting through a few films just now, got a couple of colour and a few more 120 shots left, and about half a 35mm roll.
