Getting closer to the big weekend!

Bit of a bugger, my 8000 mile service will be due just before the weekend, so do i get it serviced before or after the ride out arrgggh!

How much before? You will be doing at least 500 miles over the weekend from Bolton so you need to think on that.

It's probably worth noting to all that borderline tyres will be shagged by the end of the weekend, so make sure they are in good nick and correctly inflated. Bike needs to well maintained, you will need lube for your chain, a few tools for any odd little adjustments....... You need to take a view on your service schedules, because there is 200 mile ride on Saturday and 160 miles on Sunday, plus travelling. (Hmmmmm note to self, check mileage on bike!)

Got new rubber and just done an oil and filter change so we'll be fine

Oi! I did about 80 odd miles today, lovely up here today, did a load of back roads around merseyside and Lancs, me and the bike are like one now.
