I'm rather glad that RATM have got it and not another cover version that makes Simon Cowell cash.
I also respect the fact that the band are giving their proceeds to charity. I'm sure the marketing folks will use this one in the future though.. |

I am soooo please RATM got number 1. Reading this thread is the first I've seen about charity but if a charity is taking a cut then I'm double pleased.
Joe Mcthingy's song is also complete pants (IMO) and I can't see how it even got to number 2. BRING BACK CHRISTMAS NUMBER 1s! |
