Well I'm sad to say the pub is closed, so no food and no beer from there! Therefore we will have to make our own entertainment.

Breakfasts I'll get in and if folks chip in a couple of quid each (or so) that will have it sorted. I generally have Special-K, Muesli and Crunchy-nut clusters in stock, bread etc. If we decide a full cooked is the fuel for the day, then say so now so I can buy in eggs & bacon etc.

I'm happy to do a simple meal on Friday night for those who want it, it'll be something that can stay hot on the stove as people may arrive at different times. Chilli Con Carne, Bolognese, a stew or similar. Folks will need to say in advance if they want food Friday night - so let me know

I think Saturday evening meal can be decided upon on the day, seeing as we will no doubt be having a post ride coffee or summat in the Cafe at LLandegla. If we want to cook we can pick up food in Ruthin on the way through or a takeaway or stop in a pub - I don't think it will be a problem Probably depends on how knackered we all are. If folks want to go 'out' Saturday night we can book a mini-bus to get to Ruthin - it's not a lively place but does have a few pubs. I think the minibus will be around £7 a head. Alternative is beers at my house.

So I think I need peeps to reply to state if they want full cooked or cereal breakfasts and if they want food Friday night.

Egg & Bacon for me please , and I'll sort myself out on the way up on Friday.

I'll chuck a crate of stella and a bottle of something stronger in the car for Saturday night...

What you have suggested sounds good to me Mike, happy with the cereals / bread options etc. Also happy with chilli or spag bog etc Friday night.....will drop you some Squids when we arrive.

As for Saturday night, would rather chill out round yours with some beers etc, as don't want to go out and thus not be in a great state for Sunday's ride.

By way of an update - DMC has messaged and is gutted but he now can't make it. So Wolfie, plan is for you to come up to mine anytime after 2pm....we will then meet up with Mr Law at the services and the two cars go up together.

Mr Venom - if you read this, more than welcome to leave your car at ours on Friday and come in one car if you want (yours or Wolfies).

Mike - Full English for me please - Something hot would be great on Friday!! Saturday I'm game for whatever

Drew - sorry to hear about DMC, might be a blessing in disguise though as my rack looks a bit on the small side for three bikes - the car is big enough to take another in the boot though so if Gary wants to we can go in mine (bit more space if you still have the Polo mate?)

Ferry is booked, they're going to hate me because the bike is as wide as the wing mirrors and 1.98m high - their limit is 2.0m to get the cheaper tickets and fit on the top deck, except it won't fit esily amongst the other cars so they're going to have to put me on the bottom with the trucks - nobody scratching the car!!!! Huzzah!!!

Bargain rack for £30

I'm glad to see you're going for the best nutrition for this mega weekend

Fry up followed by beer.

Lots of carbs

I've decided on a lasagne for dinner Friday night. Get some pasta in us without the hassle of cooking it fresh. Lasagne can be nuked to re-heat and tastes better after having some time to combine all the flavours.

So TLW and Drew are you OK with lasagne?

Matt - do you want to eat when you get here or you still sorting yourself out?

Others - let me know

Sounds great - let me know where you live and your mobile and I can advise of our ETA (and find the place...)

Will need your address as well Drew, last time I visited I was wearing a backless hospital gown...

Not sure what time I'll arrive so if there is any left, then great, however I will probably still grab something from a service station somewhere...

The bottle might be from another island a bit a little further west (by a few thousand miles )
