The Sun and the Moon appear the same size in sky. This is curious because the Sun is 400 times bigger than the moon. However by some coincidence, or act of God, the Sun is 400 times further away from the Earth than the Moon is.
Hence they both appear to be the same size. Interesting that, isn't it? |
