That red one was sold too apparently. I was going for the 955 blue/green one - if I could have stretched to an '05 model it would have been the black.

It was a sweet deal - espescially what they offered me for the BlueBlade as it was on my description only and it was above book price. I will definately keep a eye on their website...

... occasionally...

... just out of curiosity mind.

Shame - cant argue with your taste though - a Speed Triple is a very nice steed indeed and one on my shortlist for a next bike

Yep, nice day out. We were lucky with the rain or lack of, but the wind was erm "interesting".

Pleasure to meet K and a surprise to see Evertheoptimist at Midlands Superbikes.

Plenty of chat of the next rideout and maybe even a BBQ later in the year.

Watch this space.

And big pat on the back to Mike.

Thanks everyone for coming, the wind was interesting to say the least. It was nice to meet up with you all, some for the first time, some again. Great photo of K, but she really does exist. I'm glad you enjoyed it, so who's going to take up the challenge and organise the next rideout...and er unfortunately, the easter weekend Pete had me down for organising, I'll be away...now
