Well the good news is I managed to cycle to work ok today, hamstring twinged a little but once warmed up felt ok. So touchwood I shouldn't struggle with it at the weekend. I hope.

Drew , on the rides if it even begins to play up a tiny bit then get off and walk it out . I had the same problem and it was a case of more enthusiasm than my body was prepared for . I must admit I haven`t even turned a wheel since I went to Llandegla about 3 months ago , no training whatsoever ...... so anyone that may need to walk will have me for company

I would come over as I have a bike rack but my mountain bike is a cheap front suspension only 99£ Halfords job.. wouldnt hold a candle to your super duper ones..
