Re: Vintage film cameras
PS maybe try a few shots on a new roll, wind it back into the canister, and put it into a different camera to finish off, save possibly losing it all.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Might give that a go. Had a Minox 110S arrive today, it's a 110 rangefinder with an f2.8 lens. Shame it uses px625 batteries. Had a roll of expired Lomo Tiger to chuck in.

Re: Vintage film cameras
There was a great looking folding Contessa on ebay, ended earlier, but it's at a camera shop in Brooklyn. The only postage they'll do is $54!

Re: Vintage film cameras
Not really, taken just a few. Finished films in Contessamat and Mess Ikonta, almost finished the one in the Certo, so would like to do that and send them off. Will be ages with the Konica yet!

Been looking on Flickr at old Argos catalogues. 1978 features the Trip 35 For £44.95 which is about £252 in today's money. Canonet 28 is there as well as the Pentax ME Super.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I just came home with a cased Pentax MX and 50mm 1.7 lens. Light meter is working OK and the shutter seems fine at different speeds and not sticking. Just the usual gummy seals and mirror damper to deal with.
It came with a powerwinder, flash, 2x converter, Hoya 135 f2.8 and a Soligor C/D 80-200 f4.5 (all in cases), a little tripod and the original user guide. You were right Johnny; definitely a bargain at £60 |

Re: Vintage film cameras
You're an expert on picking at gummy seals aren't you?
