Yes, that seems to be the main problem

These may fit as they use a different mounting point to most crash bungs, but its a bit tight.

I'm going to send them a pm

Two silver curvys finished (as much as they every are with the constant tinkering!) on the same day. I'm happy with how it is looking now, apart from wanting to swap the iridium screen for a black one like I used to have. I have replaced the front discs, given the brakes the once over again, thoroughly scrubbed the chain, fitted the other bracket for the right mirrorcator, full service and lube, and a good clean and polish. I haven't riden it yet so I'm planning to put a few miles on tomorrow (I'm still on school holiday 'til Tuesday).
There were loads of bikes out today. KJ I'm sorry to say that I see loads of accidents, near misses and dodgy moments at this time of year. The weekend worriors come out with the sunshine and believe they are race ready. Unfortunately these are the ones that give the rest of us a bad name.

Right for yoouse guys (KJ & SvRich) who don't have any crash bungs or protectors fitted to protect your lowers here's what I've found out

The best ones are the Moto Sliders which will fit if you have the lower fairing fitted. But you will have to sand down the lowers by the engine mount, but not cut. So the man at Motosliders said

If you don't want to sand down or cut the fairing, then R&G do crash bungs which use 2 engine mounts.

Moto Sliders are £45 + £7 P&P from Sv Racing parts on the bay

R&G are about £69!!

I'll be ordering the R&G's as I don't want to sand or cut the lowers

Just ordered a stubby oval Fuel end can to replace the Scorpion, as there is a clearance issue at the back

Well at least you know what ones to fit, when you can afford them KJ.
Yes, my mojo is nearly there, bike is finished, garage is almost tidy.

I just need it to warm up a bit, old age I'm afraid and I'm a skinny git, which doesn't help. Grumpy old man syndrome

I was losing my mojo a little bit over the last couple of months- I wanted to go out but wasn't riding particularly well. That was all sorted last weekend though
