With post-modern moral relativism , leftists can say a word like 'terrorist' really means nothing.

Anyway. I am a scientist. Thats my job. Research science. I read the BBC on a daily basis. Anti science, half truths, and mis-information really irritates me. If it was in the BBC, I would have noticed. And, its not.

Then there is the misc list of other things that you say the BBC is secretly trying to sell us. And, essentially, I see no evidence for any of them. I see an article written by Gerard something. Which is nice. Where he says a load of things, and the evidence info can be found in a blog somewhere, which he doesnt hyperlink. Because, if he says its there, why would we need to check, right?

I mean, I am just curious. I noticed how the US has dragged the word "liberal" to the same place as say "sewer". I used to be under the immpression that liberalism was a political tradition holding liberty as a primary value.

Liberty? Like, freedom. Like, emmm, lets see, allowing the general population decide who governs them? Allowing woman to vote, allowing black people have civil rights, the right to a fair triall, allowing you to not be religious if you want. Not living in a corrupt police state. Those sorts of things.

I was wrong though. I now know that liberalism is about letting those jewish gay boys in Hollywood tell you what you can wear.

I had one of the most interesting taxi rides of my life in Barbados. Needed to get from one side of the island to the other - called a taxi from a bar - taxi arrives driver comes in orders a TUMBLER full of 98% proof local rum (looked like molasses it was that thick) - shows us to his taxi - 1960's T-Bird !! Gets in, winds the stereo up to max (local Reggae only station) reaches under his seat pulls out a shoe box full of 'local product' - lights up - chucks 2 back to us & then drives at full tilt all the way to our destination - couldn't stop giggling all the way !!
