Re: Improving comfort on the SV?
those bars bring them up higher and closer to you (as they rise the forks point towards you so the bars go up and towards you) and you can change them to be wider or narrow to suit you better.

Re: Improving comfort on the SV?
If you were closer agy I'd offer you to have a spin on mine as i had similar issues to you.
I've fitted a gel seat (best £100 ever) and those clips on's and it's made it the perfect daily for me. Last edited by Fozzy; 29-06-12 at 08:06 PM. Reason: typo |

Re: Improving comfort on the SV?
I have the same as those (cost me £114 new as those weren't on Ebay at the time)
I have raised mine about 2 cm over the previous clipon's height but that 2cm is higher up and closer to me if you know what I mean. They aren't +50mm they are +40mm (over std clipons) the ebay's is wrong. They are slightly flatter to (less drop) that std clipons. |

Re: Improving comfort on the SV?
good stuff. i can wait with buying the seat until i'm feeling rich; just live with the pain in the a**e so to speak for a bit longer but the neck pain is not tolerable.
I will bid for the ones on ebay. Damn I hope I win them! I think they normally cost £200. my local garage said it will be an hours labour if I provide the kit so only another 40 squid on top. it was my local mechanic who said the full bar will hit the fairings. he's got one but his sv is naked |

Re: Improving comfort on the SV?
Agy they are £114 see here..
Clicky as you can see they are + 4cm you would need the 41mm versions. It's easy to fit and if you have a local Org member with some time I'm sure they could help you fit them for tea and bacon sandwich is the normal costs.. |
