So confused now haha I drive approx 15 miles to work through heavy traffic and probably one weekend a month out on the twisties but I want to travel from Portsmouth to Liverpool every now and again

I have a nice SV1000 with just over 6000 miles that I would be tempted to sell, I'm planning my next steed this year.

at 15 miles threw heavy traffic i would get a well used (something you dont mind dropping or scratching) 125 or a super scoot (light, agile and good on fuel) for commuting. then buy a nice bike for the weekends and open road.

the only uncomfy part of an SV is the seat and your wrists on the S model so buy a naked and get the seat sorted. the 1000 is very nice but heavy. the 650 is fun.

Both of the OPs choice of bikes seem to be nakeds,so they will be perfectly comfortable.He needs to try out a few different bikes to see what he really wants.
