Why does a garage need to meet building regs? Wouldn't bother me.

As for the stove I reckon they're great for when you're in there a lot, but in a garage you're not going to be bothered going out all the time to chuck more wood on to keep it burning all the time.

Gas is a no go IMO, when I was doing a lot of fabricating and such I could use £15 a week easy just on heating gas, was only used maybe 3 days out of that week, that wasn't a big workshop either.

in there just about every night so dont see a problem there, its me 2nd home
