Re: 1st ever trackday!!
Yep, montreal is tricky for me too, but Ago is my favourite.
I wish Murray's wasn't quite so sharp, as it spoils the run in from Coram for me, it doesn't flow

Re: 1st ever trackday!!
You should be able to do the day on a tank and a bit.
Don't fuss about the tyres, the pilot powers will be fine Enjoy the day Jambo Sent from my thingie

Re: 1st ever trackday!!
Cheers for the replies fellas, will chuck the wets in just in case it's heavy rain all day, it's been the hottest July since the world was created and on the day I have my first TD it's due to p1ss down
Haven't bought any kind of special waterproofs, will a walking type jacket over my leathers be ok? Sounds a bit of a bodge but if it;s only showers it's better than FA?! Will brim the bike up and take 2 lots of 5ltr cans with juice in just in case. Looking forward to it, but still the nerves are there, you know, the kind that wake you up at 3 in the morning! The plan is to take it easy, get the lines right then twist the throttle a bit more as the day progresses.................well that's the plan! |

Re: 1st ever trackday!!
Keep us updated. I know what you mean about nerves. I usually get to thinking "wtf am I putting myself through this again for?" just before the first session. Time it's over I remember why

Re: 1st ever trackday!!
Enjoy mate. I'm in the process of organising my first too. Going with TIB, so no doubt will get it all wrong, receive terrible advice, and generally it will be a wholey unpleasant experience.

Re: 1st ever trackday!!
I'll try and enjoy it! Once the nerves subside and I get round the first corner without falling off!
Will try and get right behind the instructor for the sighting laps so I get to follow his lines etc but as I'm the original Captain Slow I'll probably end up at the back! |

Re: 1st ever trackday!!
just make sure you first to line up in the pit lane, then you'll be right behind him for the 2 sighting laps.... then everyone might fly past you :P
