Apologies if that sounded harsh, my halvarssons jacket (HiART) has stood up to more than it's fair share of offs

Another factor, textiles don't have slider patches and don't stay in place well enough for them.

Not at all - I love my Halvarssons jacket, but can understand track conditions are completely different to the road.

The Sidecar guys are in Woven Kevlar suits but not many go that route.
