Also remember that trip computers generally have a short memory.

I know the SV only remembers what happened the last time the ignition was turned on. A couple of ignition on-off sequences after pulling up & the salesman would never know!

I hope this isnt the norm of what people do on test rides.

Doing that sort of speed on an unfamiliar machine when its not even yours sounds irresponsible at best and a fine way to get yourself killed.

If you like the RSV then try to get a test on a Falco. Similar in a lot of ways but it is actually comfortable...

RSV imo out of the two. V2 all the way

Thats not the case on my Falco... so id expect its not on the RSV. You have to know how to get rid of he V-Max.

But hey, CBR6? You lucky thing - I would love to take one out, but I daren't as I dont think I would have enough self control not to sign on the dotted line....and that would be a Bad Thing, especially as we are supposed to be saving for a wedding!

BB.
Not getting rid of any bikes mate, just adding to the collection! Oh, and I don't know if I've got the will power not to buy anything myself!!

Meh!!!

I'm not stupid, I got used to the bike first (and very quickly as it's similar to my bike, just more powerful and ALOT more refined), then opened her up. May not be mine but if I crashed it I'd have to fork out £750 for the insurance excess so it's not like I didn't have a care in the world! (I'm also old enough to realise I'm mortal!)

I'm warming to you Josh, first you rip sheds out of my girlfriend endlessly, then you stick up for me (you just looking out for your elders?), but don't start a fight cuz I don't wanna have to bail you out!!

The Falco doesn't interest me but V-twins deffinately do, that's why I'm torn!!

Well the new RSV's have a different dash to the old RSV & Falco so it might not be the same BUT on mine you scrole to the V-max (max speed done) and press the R button.

What's more it's illegal and could even slighty perturb another road user!
